MiraDoor takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect through the Site at miradoor.io, how we use it, and your choices. We try to keep this short and human-readable because privacy policies should not require a lawyer to understand.

1. What we collect

Information you give us. When you email hello@miradoor.io, we receive whatever you send — your name, email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments. We use that information to reply to you and, if relevant, to assess potential engagements.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use this for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics — never to identify individual visitors.

Cookies. The Site uses minimal cookies — only those required for the Site to function. We do not use marketing cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics that profile individuals.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

  • Reply to your enquiry.
  • Assess whether MiraDoor is a good fit for your problem.
  • Maintain a record of our correspondence.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with marketers, data brokers, or anyone else outside MiraDoor. We do not add you to a marketing list. If you would like to have a continuing conversation with us, we will tell you that explicitly and ask.

3. How long we keep your information

We retain emails and correspondence for as long as it remains useful to maintain a working relationship — typically several years for active and former clients, and indefinitely if you have explicitly asked us to stay in touch. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

4. How we protect your information

We use reputable, security-conscious providers for email, hosting, and operational tools. Access to your information is limited to people at MiraDoor who need it to do their work. We do not store sensitive personal information on the Site.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Show you what information we have about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your information.
  • Stop using your information for a particular purpose.

Email hello@miradoor.io with the request. We will respond within thirty days.

6. Visitors outside the United States

MiraDoor is based in the United States. If you visit the Site or contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed in the United States. We comply with applicable data-protection laws — including the GDPR for EU/EEA visitors and the CCPA for California residents — and apply the same care to all correspondence regardless of origin.

7. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We will post any updates here and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be flagged prominently.
